Anyone wanna try my Calf Blitz?
Today was Quad/Ham and Calf Blitz day. I say Calf Blitz, cause I worked them twice this week. Fiiting them in again trying to spurt some growth. The results are good, here is my workout. If u concentrate on getting every last squeeze out of the reps, it is downright brutal. Also make sure u r using enough weight, the reps are just a guideline;
Standing Calf Raise Machine (6 supersets with diff. toe positions) 1st set - Toes Pointed Straight/Out/In (25/15/12) 2nd set - Toes Pointed Out/In/Straight (25/15/12) 3rd set - Toes Pointed In/Straight/Out (25/15/12) 4th/5th/6th set - Repeat the above one more time Seated Calf Machine 1st set - Toes straight - 25 2nd set - Toes pointed out - 25 3rd set - Toes pointed in - 25 4th/5th/6th set - repeat Donkey Calf Raises 6 sets, same format as seated calf raises Reverse Calf Raises 6 sets of 30 - u can also do them between sets Have Fun! 24 sets for calves?!?
I superset seated and standing calf raise for 2 heavy sets and my calves are blown. Have you tried heavy weight, lower sets? |

Thats why it's a blitz guys, come on u r not pansies, LOL!!!...I have been doing heavy sets less sets forever...now since I started doing this routine, I have seen unbelievable gains. And it only takes 20 minutes to complete, there is little rest between sets. Dont go too light however, u still want to feel a burn.
Yes, it's brutal, but trust me, u follow this routine once or twice a week for a month and u will be pleasantlky surprised. I will do it twice more and then go back to doing less volume for a while. It's best to change up and shock guyz! FREAK |
