    Weird Happenings...

I made this workout in which its target was to specifically hit my lats, and hit them hard.

    The workout consisted of..

    Deadlifts

Then I did a tri set with Pullups, pullovers, and then pull downs. I did all three lifts in a row with little rest. Then after performing all three I would rest for 2-4 minutes, then repeat the tri set. I did this for 3 rounds.

Then after I performed low rows.

Then rear lateral raises and curls.

Now that was yesterday. Today every spot on my back is sore EXCEPT my lats.

I did this routine with 2 of my buddies, and both of their lats kill today.

    Why?

who cares if your lats are sore or not? what does that have to do with anything aside from appeasing the bodybuilding voodoo gods?

I know they got worked. No doubt about that. And I know that just because they aren't sore doesn't mean I didn't get a workout.

I was just wondering from a... lets say... scientific standpoint. Why aren't mine sore?

Remember: Slow eccentrics to rip your muscles, explode with the concentrics to shock your muscles, squeeze at the top to show your muscles what its like to be bigger!

Seriously, soreness means nothing. If you do any sort of rowing and pulling exercise your lats WILL be worked because theres little way they cant be worked.
