    What should i do?

Ok, ive just come back from 4months in argentina, much slimmer, but with much less muscle mass as i didnt do hardly any working out out there besides sit-ups. And while my muscles are much smaller, i was suprised to find i could still do 3 reps of the 23 kg dumbel, although it killed my wrist to do so. 2months ago i remember struggling to do ten with a 15kg, so it was unexpected.
So, my question is wether or not i should regain my size by going for mabe a 20kg and doing a few reps, or going back to 12 or 15kg and building my way back up to 23kg?

Thanks, but i meant specificaly...since i can still miraculously lift alot of weight, albeit for 3 reps, and with wrist pain, should i start at the high weight?

Or should i begin again at a lower weight and build up to the heavy weight and bigger size gradualy?

You do not want to do anything that will cause pain.

Additionally, your size comes from diet more so than your training.

Well at the moment im eating little, in order to cut more fat, but what i do eat its protein mostly, i know that this gains muscle slower, but either way im interested in how to train best at the moment.
When my abs show, i will eat alot of calories again, until belly comes and gets me, at which point i'l kill the mudder fudder again. I have no intention of being a fat bastard again, even with huge muscles, a belly, small breasts and bingo wings make me feel disgusting, and i hate that. So im not worried too much about eating for size as yet, until the time comes when i feel its ok to do so

Muscle gains wont be slower, they will be non-existent if your not eating over maintenance cals.

The energy you used to apologise could probably have been used to push the new thread button, you know.

No reason why you shouldn't do some exercise. If it's hot, just make sure to keep well-hydrated.

    Dodge,

You have to be specific about your goals before people can be specific in answering your questions.

Your goals (e.g. build muscle mass, cut body fat, get stronger, etc.) will determine what you need to do in the gym and what you need to eat.

Anybody can make a mistake, especially if they've never used a forum before, which i think is the case here.

Well at this very moment i want to remove all unsightly fat, although if i can also gain muscle i wont complain.

However, if i shouldnt concentrate on muscle yet, until burning the fat, then...once i do resume the weights, should i begin with the 20kg dumbels, and other heavy weights, with fewer reps, or should i begin again with lower weights (12-15kg)and build up to the bigger weights?

My advice, above all, read the stickies in this forum and in the "Diet and nutrition" forum. They will help you a lot in designing a routine and a diet that fits your goals.

P.S.: Trying to get rid of your fat doesn't mean you will cut out weightlifting entirely. You have to reduce the volume (amount of repetitions) in your weightlifting, but you certainly don't want to reduce it to nothing. Other than that, getting rid of fat is all about dieting. Try something like fitday.com to track your calories and make sure you're dieting honestly.
