Post the ultimate diet 2.0

i read some of the book and there was a couple of parts that i did not understand.

1. in the chapter called "doing two things at once" he says "our bodies aren't typically good at doing two things at
once, especially when those things are at odds with one another" by this he means "heavy strength training with
heavy endurance training compromises the overall results". so does this mean that u should not do cardio and weights on the same day or does it mean when u are trying to cut up that u should do Pump training not Tension training.

What he means is don't try to run a marathon and win a powerlifting competition at the same time. You just end up being good at neither.

By that same logic, you choose either gain muscle or lose fat - you can't do both at once, at least not naturally.

If that's not clear enough, then you just need to pick ONE thing and focus on it. That doesn't mean you don't do cardio if you're lifting, and it doesn't mean don't lift if you're training for a race, but you need to focus on ONE thing.

as long as protein is up its okay to run a bit for losing fat, but just dont expect to build any muscle

Cheat on your girlfriend, not on your meal.
