Since my early 20's (30 years) but seriously, very seriously since 2001 after my first wife died. Poured my heart and soul into the gym. Dedication, desire, diet and discipline led me to where I am now.

Thank you Bro. She fought hard, cancer is a beast. But good came from it. The gym is good for you, but balance in life is way more important. If my girl asked me to quit, I would. And if I have to choose between my child when he or she is here and the gym, sorry gym. Balance Bro, that's the key.

Got close once, but no. Couldn't flip the switch to competition dieting. Plus, I'd be terrified to get up in front of people in a banana hammock! No way I'm doing that, I'm really kind of shy in person. Respect those that compete, not for me.

Everything is smooth and stable now and im going to give it 100% from now til next may when the local novice show is held. I want to win but even if i dont atleast i tried.

You have the perfect mindset to do it. I'm behind you all the way, anything I can do, just say the word. Give it your all and enjoy it, that way, win or lose, you'll remember the good in it forever.
