Thread: Tips for 1st time pinner

I pin slow! I dont do any of that darting stuff. Go nice and easy it will all be good.

All you have to do is this - once you have everything...

... get the pin in position and say - "this is it!"

With Z's gear you can say - smooth as butter (as you inject) - it's super easy.

You can look forward to completing the task - because you will feel
like a million bucks $$$ - like KING KONG!

I started with 21g - those were freaking darts!!!

Once you get going I recommend drawing with 23g 1.5 inch - and injecting with 25g 1 inch (for most types) - but do not wait - 23g is just fine I use those as well.

Don't hesitate. Only advice I feel is worth saying. 25g is a good way to go. ^21 might not be the way to go hahahah

When inserting, I make a small "quick" push to break the skin. Then, push gently in. Inject slowly. You'll be fine.

Thanks guys, always appreciate the help. can't wait till everything comes in, may have to order some of those slightly smaller needles, though I guess if I just do this 1st cycle with the bigger ones the next time it will seem like nothing

I just pinned for the first time on Monday and it went over really well. I used a 25g 1" and i was surprised that i barely had to put any pressure for it to break the skin. The only bad thing was my quad was killing me the next day.

Fear of needles is nothing to joke about. I've seen grown ass men cry, faint, puke, shake like a $5 whore...

You either get used to it, or you don't. Some people are afraid of clowns ... at least fear of needles makes sense ...

just be sure you get it in the muscle! I use 23g or 25 g - 1.5" long in my glutes. i have no experience with insulin syringes.

I just jab-n-go. I used to hate needles, but once I got used to it by pinning eod, it became fun, and I always miss it when Im off cycle. I just jab-n-go because if you sit there thinking about it you might punk yourself out. Just say "THIS IS SPARTA!!!!" and stab it like its your old lady LOL

Just thought they might be helpful to have a visual display as apposed to guys trying to explain it lol. If not its all good just trying to help out a new guy.

as they have said inject slowwwwwww! AND IT WILL REDUCE THE PAIN CONSIDERABLY! also dont be timmid when sticking it, just do it and you'll be fine

I used to hate pinning, lately with prop ed i kinda actually look forward to it... lol... does that make me sick?

you will probably do glutes so just remember HIGH, WIDE, and STRAIGHT. 23g is fine. they will always be sore for the first couple weeks and it might hurt the first few times but the muscle gets used to it. if i do glutes myself, i hold the pin in an overhand type grip with my thumb, middle, and ring finger. and depress with my forefinger. the best is to just make your girlfriend do though

just make sure you remember to switch the needle... don't be stickin yourself with 18g like some idiots out there...
