Madol Description:
Madol a.k.a. desoxymethyltestosterone or DMT, a testosterone (http://www.steroid.com/Testoderm.php) derivative and cousin to methyltestosterone (http://www.steroid.com/Methyltestosterone.phtml) has undergone three significant modifications. In short, they include the addition of a methyl group at carbon 17-alpha (a modification that permits the drug to pass through the liver and into the bloodstream without being deactivated, thereby making it effective for oral administration), as well as two additional chemical conversions (the addition of a double bond, and the removal of the 3-keto group) which account for both its enhanced anabolic potency and relative bioactivity.

Madol Form:
Madol is potent oral steroid often found in 5 and 10 mg tablets. Although no longer available as a prescription drug, Madol is still being produced in underground labs and is readily available on the black market.

Madol Indications/Purpose:
Madol has rightfully earned a solid reputation for being an extremely potent muscle and strength gaining oral steroid thats 60% more anabolic (muscle building) than testosterone, yet only 60% as androgenic (impacting male sex characteristics).

Alone Madol provides solid anabolic results, but its true strength lies within its ability to augment steroid cycles. Primary among Madols benefits is its capacity for effectively enhancing your free testosterone levels, which for bodybuilding and athletic purposes can substantially impact bodily shape and size, largely due to its ability to increase your number of muscle fibers. Its lean mass generating property makes Madol a very productive cycle ingredient thats versatile enough for both bulking (muscle gaining) and cutting (muscle defining) cycle inclusion. Among its peripheral benefits are: slight increases in aggression which can positively impact your workouts and; no aromatization (testosterones conversion to estrogen) which can result in negative estrogen-related side effects. So theres virtually zero water retention making it especially ideal for generating densely hardened and polished physiques.

Madol was never officially approved for human use so medical prescribing guidelines are not available, but for athletic purposes the typical effective dosage range is 5-15 mg daily. It should also be noted that like all orals with very short half-lives, your daily dosage should be split in half and taken both early and late (8-12 hours apart) which is enough to keep blood serum levels well above baseline with this particular drug.

Madol Side Effects:
There are hosts of possibly nasty, clinically-cited side effects for testosterone usage, many of which are greatly exaggerated by the media. However, the otherwise healthy bodybuilder has much less to worry about regarding side effects. As with any form of anabolic steroids, testosterone can possibly cause side effects which fall into two primary categories, estrogenic and androgenic.

Since Madol doesnt aromatize, you can expect to be free from estrogenic side effects (those due to increases in estrogen estradiol, prolactin, progesterone or progestin) which generally include increased water retention, body fat gain, and gynecomastia (due to an imbalance in the testosterone and estrogen ratio).

Androgenic side effects, those having to do with male sexual characteristics, occur due to elevated testosterone levels which are likely to produce oily skin, acne, body/facial hair growth, and testicular atrophy (temporary reduction in the size of your testicles). Androgen drug use of any kind is also known to accelerate balding, but only in men with a genetic predisposition for hair loss. In other words, if youre losing or going to lose your hair then testosterone supplementation can speed up the process, but it is never the primary cause of hair loss.

The most common side effects cited by Madol users include strong and sometimes debilitating muscle pumps, shortness of breath, high blood pressure, and oily skin.

Synthetic testosterone and several other steroids, including nandrolones will shut down natural production altogether. A mere 100 mgs per week of either of these takes about 5-6 weeks to cause this shut down, 250-500 mgs shuts you down by the second week, and it takes roughly a month to return those testosterone levels to baseline. Although Madol may not be androgenic enough to promote shut down, it will definitely suppress natural testosterone production.

Would love to know if this is still around? A testosterone that doesn't aromatize!
