So i was just wondering how do you get your muscles like rock hard like my muscles are nice and firm but i want em as hard as a rock and to look hard too. Do have to lose body fat for this to happen or is it genetics? what about supps i can take? training method? i'm still natural so steriods won't be an option

I know what your talking about there. The muscles are actually hard when flexed but look at it like this. you have hard muscle with a sponge over top of them(bodyfat). You push down on lets say the bi and it gives in some. that isn't really the muscle your pressing but the layers on top of it. Dieting down and thinning that layers between your skin and muscle is how you will actually notice how hard the muscle really is.

you need to lower both intramuscular fat stores and subcutaneous fat

intramuscular fat = fat stored in skeletal muscle and surrounds vital organs etc

subcutaneous fat = fat stored in the 3rd (bottom layer) of the skin

It is the loss of intramuscular fat that changes the "shape" of a person. exericse helps to burn intramuscular fat while "dieting" will have a greater effect on subcutaneous fat stores

LAM,
You never cease to amaze me with you abundance of knowledge. What do you do for a living if you don't mind my asking. If your not in the medical profession in some way shape or form, you should be.

LAM is dead on, as always.

However, the style of training can effect hardness, as well as genetics and certain supplements. For example, I have heard that 1, 4 AD will make your muscles look and feel harder.

I'm thinking of giving this 4-AD and 1 test stuff a try. These boards are the 1st I've heard of them so doing a bit more homework 1st.

I paid $75 for a bottle of 60 caps(300mg caps) I couldn't tell that much from it! THe only thing it did for me was increase my appetite for bulking! Don't buy it for harding IMO. Maybe try 3AA!

3AA? Ok more confusion. What the hell is that one???? ugggh I give up I'm getting it all. Now where is my credit card again?

thanks for the compliment FS...by education i'm a hardware design engineer but I've been out of work since last december. you remember in boot camp when they would stress "attention to detail". I guess it actually stuck ! :D I really enjoy reading so that's how I spend the majority of my free time...

Outstanding LAM. Well it's great that you share your knowledge the way you do with Jabronies such as I. From everyone here Big Thanks Kahuna!!!
