I have gained all the weight that I would like (14lbs. in 2 months) and I am ready to diet now and I need to know where to reduce the calories. Should I stop the protein supplements, should I stop creatine, should I just make my servings smaller? Here is a sample of my daily diet:

7 am: 2 eggs, 1 cup oatmeal with handfull of raisens
10 am: 1 cup of yogurt with 1 scoop of protein
1pm: can of tuna with mayo, large salad w/olive oil, orange
5pm: broiled chicken breast, 1 cup of rice, 1 cup of veggies
7pm : lift
8pm: 1 scoop protein,1 scoop of dextrose,1 banana, 1tsp creatine
10 pm: peanut butter on wheat and a glass of milk
between 9pm and 11pm: 2-4 beers depending on the day I had.
Weekends, anything goes, calories are probably 50% higher

Thanks for your advice, Mike

Kep the protien and creatine.

No way, drop the milk, keep the beers! :D Milk is for babies, men drink beer. (j/k)

I think the diet itself looks okay, except for the beer every night. Your concern would be calories.

I knew you guy's were going to take my beer away, I like my beer but I guess I'll give it up during the week anyhow.

Drop the beer, limit it to once in a while

Drop the fruit

Drop the dextrose and and bannana post workout and replace with Oatmeal.

Put veggies into at least three of your meals

I would drop the mayo also

What is the macro breakdown of your diet?

*** I would drop the bannana and replace it with maltodextrin.

.....

Don't drop the simple carbs post workout. In fact one banana is no way near enough simple carbs. if your just going to use fruit post workout 3 or 4 bananas might not even be enough.
You need about 100 grams of simple carbs post workout to replenish glycogen. Personally i'll have a protein shake and a pint of white rice post workout. Nothing you eat first hour after workout will store as fat, it simply gives insulin spike and replenishs glycogen stores and begins the healing process of the muscles. Don't drop any of that post workout, thats horrid advice.

But uh yeah, the uh beer does need to go if you want to cut. *chuckle*
