I have come to the conclusion that split chicken breasts (on the bone) taste much better than boneless chicken breasts. And don't disagree with me because if you do, you are simply wrong. :p Sure, the boneless stuff has less calories and fat, but the split breasts just plain taste better.

Oh yeah, I just ate one. Mmmmmmmm.....

I think you're right.

Problem is - I won't eat meat on the bone. (prepare to have you thread pornalized now thanks to me)

If I could get my mom to fly in and remove it from the bone after it's cooked I'd be set. (yes - I have issues.)

 That hadn't even crossed my mind until you added that statement!

As long as its cooked attached to the bone it will taste better yeah, flavours are extracted from the bone.

Grab a whole chicken, baste wil sunflower oil, sprinkle finly chopped parsely and thyme on it, and roast... She's a beauty :)

I agree! I think the same goes for steak. I like ribeyes but I think the last bit of a T-bone next to the bone is Mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
(mouth waters)!

Yeah yeah, that's great. But this thread is about chicken, not steak. :p

I'm sorry IAB. You're right~~ Now who pissed in your cornflakes????:D

Whole or split, chicken breasts (on the bone) are much tastier than those without.

Does anyone keep the skin on while cooking chicken breasts? I notice that the flavor is better if it is and they tend not to be as dry as the boneless.

Thanks for the recipe Emmon, sounds great! :thumb:

chicken is much better on the bone. Why do you think people boil chicken bones to make a broth?
somthing else that taste great on the bone... CARP... oh wait, this is about chicken. My bad.

If you haven't tried the frozen Kirkland brand chicken breasts, GO! They are awesome!
