7 weeks and 9 pounds later

Ive been trying to bulk for a while now, im 6ft 155 pounds and im up to my 7th week and ive gained 9 pounds. Ive noticed change mainly in my arms and my body is looking slighty more muscular however im still pretty skinny.

I was just wondering when i will start seeing some really good results?

im trying to be as patient as possible cause i know these things take time

    Thanks!

It's tough man, I went from 158 in november to 174 now (had a few setbacks such as wisdom teeth pulled where I lost all the weight I gained, and trips to colleges as well), and while I've noticed some defintate improvement (size and strength), I'm still not anywhere close to where I want to be. Just gotta be patient and keep doing the right things. Once I hit 180, I'll have to evaluate whether to cut or keep bulking until either 190 or 200.

What kind of improvements are you looking for to be noticable?

you won't see the results in the mirror. You should take measurements and pictures from all angles. Do this every couple months and you'll see how much you've gained. I've gained 70 lbs in the last 7 years but to me, I still look the same in the mirror.

when i bulked at the begining of the school year i went from 200 to 220 in about 2 months, but i was probably gaining more fat, because i was eating more calories and probably on a slopier bulk..my goal was just to put on weight. what is your caloric intake as of right now?

if you've put on 70 pounds then i doubt you look the same, lol. but the thing is with a miror is that you see yourself in a miror every day and you wont be able to point things out that are getting bigger, at least not as well. taking pictures like pitt-bull said will help you see your gains as you go along. try it out

Im looking for overall improvement in size and muscles in my body, but mainly my upper body (chest, arms, shoulders etc). I do want to start cutting one day but i dont know how much more im gonna need to gain till i get to a nice size. I guess being tall doesnt help me much

Up it to 3250-3500. Thats how much I was eating when I was 155. It worked well for me. I am not 172. Still not my goal but getting there. Its getting a lot harder now too. I have to eat even more.
