It is kind of a mixed post that covers a few areas so I thought I'd put it here as this is the base problem area.
From Desert Storm's anthrax vaccination I developed hypogonadism, sleep apnea, insulin/metabolic resistance, and chronic fatigue. None of which was really diagnosed or dealt with until a few years back. I'd gone from being deployed at 180 lbs to jumping up to 250 in 6 months and haven't been under 225 since.
My test has been down in the 100 range since it's first test back in 2003-4 and being stubborn and proud I didn't take the shots as prescribed, just kind of randomly and intermittently.
I'm waiting on my recent labs from the VA so I can't post numbers yet. Actually I will ask them to redo them as from what I've learned here I haven't even been tested for half of what I need to know.
I'm currently at 295 lbs, 6 ft, 44% bf even at 1000-1800 calories/day mainly fat/protien according to the sparkpeople app. I've had a trainer at the gym for a year though I was only making it when I had appointments. I am now at a MMA gym doing thai boxing 5 hours a week and having a blast with it.
I am planning a 3/week lifting schedule and 3-5 hrs in the boxing routine.
I'm prescribed 200 test cy every 2 weeks and I'm going to request 400/week or at least 200 from the doc.
The VA doesn't allow them to write for HCG or AI's so I picked up some fromeron for the AI and have HCG on the way.
I love the fromeron I started feeling it the 3rd day, my thoughts cleared up, more energy and focus, great workouts. I'm applying it to the scalp as there and the armpits are the best absorption spots on the body. Interestingly it seems to be helping with the dermatitis from the test on my scalp.
If i don't eat carbs I don't gain weight, yet since I quit smoking 1.5 years ago I gained 30lbs and it won't go away even though I'm at the calorie intake of a 120lb girl.
I've finally accepted I'm going to have to TRT forever and now I'm thinking since I'm there anyways might as well jack it up and get my stud back on.
I'm also doing some testing for a partial VA disability so I can't go too crazy until after that is done.
Low test causing insulin resistance along with years of Mt Dew by the case in my younger years to stay away with the sleep apnea has things a mess.
I'm almost thinking that I've been lower calorie for so long as crazy as it sounds maybe I need to do a mass cycle to bring my systems out of hibernation to enable me to lose normally again. A modified Paleo/warrior diet of 3 days underfeeding, 2 days massive overfeeding. I want to be me again not the stay puff marshmallow. I do have ok muscle mass still from my heavy lifting days.
For muscle I want functional strength with joints and strong tendons, size is nice, just not my main priority. I'm not sure what I'll add with the workouts other than the 200 test, 250 hcgx2wk, and formeron 3 pumps a day. Eq looks like a good addition, Synthelamin for b12 energy. Maybe one of the HGH precursors?
Only photo of me without a shirt on, I was screwing around painting.
