The best vegan version of a BLT sandwich:
I call it The Rebecca:
Step 1 - Mix these together.
1/2 Tomato -Dice it.
1 tsp. Oregano - Sprinkle it in there.
1 tsp. Rosemary - Pour into your hand and crush
it up with your fingers before sprinkling in to release the flavors.
A dash of salt and pepper to taste.
Note: Measurements are estimated. I never measure them in real life. Do you.
Step 2 - Fry off ?bacon? in a skillet. I have a preference for Litelife but make any kind you enjoy. Get it crispy.
Step 3 - Smear a good dollop of Veganaise on a lightly warmed pita. I put my pita in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds to warm it up. You don?t want it hot, just warm and flexible.
Step 4 - Spread veggie deli slices on pita to a thickness of your choosing. Place fake-un over the slices. Apply diced and herbed toms.
Step 5 - Fold and devour.
As you can see there is no L to this BLT. To make it that way, you have to add clean, lightly massaged kale leaves and change the name to The Bob. Thanks!
