Please, can't you find someone else.
The GOP found out she wasn't the one to knock out Obama and niether is Steele for that matter....maybe Rush. :p

Obama will knock himself out. The Leno appearance only proves he is worried.

I think he's a trainwreck.. an ultra-left whacko. I have disagreed with virtually every decision he has made & think he's taking us a in a terrible direction.

They didn't jump on Bush? Did you forget how many months of "He stole the election", "he's not really our President" shit?

I don't think anyone jumped on Bush during his first year.....I know I didn't start till much later. You can look it up.
He sucked balls.

Shit I did, I knew this man was lying as soon as he said the word Iraq. That's why I was so infuriated, then reduced to frustration.

And then they constsntly conflated the two. That cemented it!
I know they're going around saying no one made a connection, but for christs sakes, aren't they aware there's an invention called video tape ?

There are more Republicans here than conservatives, there may be a few who hide their true party.

When I post something negative about Obama no one defends him but if it's good the CONS are there.

UH... REPUBLICAN=CONSERVATIVE

and i was saying everyone was saying he is going to make change and all this and that and talked about how great he is, well now they are gone...... cause he is an idiot. i would not want to be president by any means. and bush was that bad??? obam has racked up about as much debt in what 2 months as bush did in 8 years!!!! plus people forgot about the recession caused by clinton that bush pulled us out of, and people were on board with the war until there was a few casualties. plus it wasn't all bush, his cabinet screwed him pretty bad. but it is an endless argument....

LOL, sorry about that. You know what I mean.
obam has racked up about as much debt in what 2 months as bush did in 8 years!!!!

You can't be for real.
It will take a little longer to that to see the damage he has caused.
LEt me guess, It wasn't Bushes fault it was during Clintons presidency and now it's not Bushes fault it's now Obamas fault?

UHHHH mino look at the defeciet(sp) obama has racked up and bush's obama is at like 3 trillion and something bush was at 4 trillion at the end of 8 years

We did have a surplus* before Bush turned it into a deficit.

Uhhhh....sort of like a used car with problems, you buy the used car knowing it has problems, you fix it little by little till it's running good.
The guy walked into a pile of shit, let him try to clean it before saying he smells like shit.
*surplus of $128 billion

no obama smelled like shit before he walked into it, a lot of people are just now starting to smell it.

and our surplus came from other countries like china giving us money which obam wants to cut out, but i am sure his friends in iran will give us some. plus how bout that hole thing with russia and the "secret" letter that became public? admit it he is a screw up!!! he wasn't ready for office, but everyone voted for the........ wait here it comes THE FIRST HALF BLACK PRESIDENT

Special Olympics Champ to Barack: Bring it On!

Posted Mar 20th 2009 9:57AM by TMZ Staff
A bowling phenom in the Special Olympics has just challenged Prez Barack Obama to a White House roll-off ... and he'll probably kick Barack's butt.

Kolan McConiughey, a Special Olympics competitor who has bowled three perfect 300 games, tells TMZ that the Prez has to score a lot higher than 129 to beat him. Kolan says he bowls an average of 266.

Kolan -- who works at a grocery store in Ann Arbor, Mich. -- said he'd love to go to the White House to beat Barack on his own lane. Kolan said, "He's cool, but he can't beat me."

We posed the challenge to the White House. They said "no comment."

Jesus Christ, you 2 are about the blindest fuckers on here. Do either of you have any idea who paid the money that these idiots from AIG paid out to their execs? Take a guess. I'll give you a hint, it was before Jan 20th. Your talking points are ridiculous. I understand they are the same talking points most others would throw at Bush, but I had more respect for you than that. Who cares if he fucks a speech?

I honestly believe that GW has little to do with this, as I believe Clinton had little to do with this. Legislation this, and legislation that, who the fuck cares, you can smash yourself in the face with a baseball bat but that doesn't make it a good idea. Just because the law allows something doesn't make it a wise business decision. And as for Obama running the country into the ground...Today marks his second month in office, did anyone believe for a second that this was going to be gone within 2 months regardless of who won election. Let him do his fucking job. I understand that you don't agree with what he is doing, but give it a fucking chance, no matter how you feel this will be happening for 4 years. And let's say, for the sake of argument, that in 4 years the country is prosperous and doing well. What then? Should we throw Palin in there so she can fuck it up by deregulating everything? Neither one of you wants the country to turn around, you want your side to win. We are at a pivotal point in our history, chill with the partisan bullshit. I heard someone say Obama is socializing the financial system. Are you kidding me? This shit started in September. I want none of it, I want AIG to fail, and any company that made bad business decisions, but that ain't gonna happen.

I used to fall on the conservative side of center. I would have, prior to 2002, considered myself a republican. I voted for GW the first time and that is where I left. Religion has destroyed the party. I have no problem with someone being religious, but don't agree with pushing religious beliefs on a country supposedly with freedom of religion.

To end, here is something to think about...If capitalism is so great, why are we here now? Deregulation is one of the things that got us to this point, letting the financial system sort itself out would be the way to go if you were following capitalism. If we got to a point where CONSERVATIVE politicians and a CONSERVATIVE president thought that throwing money blindly at companies with no contingencies attached to that money was a good idea, I tend to think there is a flaw in that system.

I would also like to point out that Obama fucked up imo, in the same manner as GW did. Any taxpayer money that goes to any company needs to be loaded with contingencies to ensure that it goes directly to where it is supposed to go for the purpose it was intended. If I were running things, all of that money that was blindly thrown at companies in September to free up the credit markets would have only been used to make credit available, What happened instead? Companies bought other companies and AIG gave money to their partner companies and execs that ran the company into the ground. The fact that Obama didn't realize this and alter this method of bailout leaves me severely doubting his intelligence, but to think McCain/Palin would have done anything different would be laughable. The king of deregulation wasn't going to regulate shit.

it was only a conservative president that threw money blindly, it was a liberal house that passed the bill also. the dem's held the majority when that was passed. so let's not just blame the conservative

When the other party refers to an earmark as any situation where you would give anybody anything, it's hard to avoid.

What happened after Jan 20, the bailout funds, or are you referring to the earmark thing.

I forgot that 0 Republicans voted for this bill. Wait, I mean 90 or so.

Dale, I understand that Bush was the first to sign the bailouts, including the one to AIG. I didn't agree with it. Obama is doubling down on his policies.

After doubling down on it, he's playing dumb like "oh I'm outraged they'd honor their contracts with the 30 billion I just authorized, even though the bill explicitly states they can!"

The feigned populist outrage bothers me.

And I fail to see how a video showing Geithner being questioned about those very bonuses before the date he said found about them = "talking point"

It's illustrating he's a liar or an idiot.

Also, calling McCain (??) the "King of Deregulation" I don't quite get. I disagree with the pretense as well that you seem to have that deregulation was the precursor to this mess. It was largely government involvement in the mortgage market in the name of "affordable housing." The biggest problem of "deregulation" was the government's failure to regulate their own GSE's, thanks largely in part to Barney Frank and other race baiting congressmen.

There was certainly some gambling going on with the housing bubble, just as with the dot com bubble. But the government was heavily encouraging it. If the government hadn't been tampering I don't think the bubble would have been nearly as big, and I don't think we'd be in nearly as big of a hole as we are now in. I also think we wouldn't be passing bailouts left and right.

Do not assume I was in agreement with GDub was doing it. I wasn't and you could probably search my post history on here and find me saying so.

Apologies for the triple post in a row but I kind of read that thing a piece at a time and responded with the quick reply. I also disagree with the remark that republicans have been "too religious" or whatever, but I'll leave it alone as it's irrelevant to the current discussion.

it takes a majority fo it to pass, and the MAJORITY were demacratic so if they wanted it passed it was going to pass with or without a republican
