Just read the avg monthly benefit here in GA is $135/person. At 11.99/lb, the wife and I could eat about 22 pounds of Prime Cut Ribeyes per month on Obama Stamps.
CA is even worse for Gov't assistance. My step dad deals with juvinille probation and this is the shit he deals with.

Calls childrens mom to schedule a visit at 8am no answer
Calls back at 10am no answer
Again finally answers at 1pm (just woke up)
Says she is to busy and can not come in until two more days (shes unemployed)
She arrives with her nails done, hair done, designer clothes, and 500$ purse
He asks why her son is not checking in and is in violation of his probation
She gets offensive and says she is to busy to keep track of all her kids (then why does she still have them she has 6)
She collects 1900$ a month for unempoyment
650 per kid because they all claim to have ADHD
Free Medical
Free lunches and breakfast at school
Food Stamps
Free Section 8 housing
Free PG&E due to low income and medical needs for her ADHD kids
Also other government incentives that puts money in her pocket because her baby daddy is a drug user

Then he says he has to charge her 30$ a month for the home monitoring system for her son a month. She flips out and pulls out her iphone and starts to text some one saying that is unjust and she can not afford it. That she is on gov't assistance and does not work. He calmly says mame if you can not afford 30$ a month why do you drive a new escalade and have a brand new iphone. When I work 2 jobs as a probation officer and junior college professor and I drive a honda fit and have a phone that does not even get internet with.
). Obama is advertising people look good when eating with food stamps so I want to look my best. Not to mention, I want to be like the other 46 million currently on food stamps living off mine and your tax money.
