I am forty, have 4 kids, and spend some time on this forum as a way to vent, mainly at other dickheads but you know why as you are all here aswell.
I am currently unemployed, have had depression for over 10 years and as a result of last year and late 2010 i have PTSD, now a few guys here know this and have taken the piss out me for being this way, if someone could fix depression like a common cold or a dose of the clap then i would be first in line. Its a bitter dark journey and one you make alone, nothing helps and sometimes for some people the only end is suicide, while it has crossed my mind i dont consider it a way out.
To find or improve my quality of life i lift, i may be not as successful at it as i would have hoped, but at the end of the day you cant be knocked for trying. I am being honest, maybe to honest, but what you get with me is honesty.
To find a solution to depression is a long arduous road and you do it by yourself. Having low testosterone does not help, and being constantly fatigued is another burden but to combat this i strive for the little things, i dont take any medication as side effects are long and meds dont help in the longrun. I try to realax, listen to music and basically chill out. I have been on a small amount of TRT but the health system here sucks (to many hoops to jump through) I have done a cycle before, and some of it actually helped, most of the gear was bunk. As i believe hormones have a huge part to play i try and get what i can, my next step is GH as this may assist me. The gear i could win would go to a great casue, it wont fix me but may help me in achieving a better quality of life. There will be those here that may flame me and use my info against me, but i dont give a flying fuck, you do that and you are dead to me

This is wrong but i got the chop. The place i worked, i use to do security, i now do maintenance, anyway i had these young guys fucking around in the cinema foyer, trying to break in etc, had a chat to them and told them to leave as it was 0810 in the morning and no movies till 1030. They reckon they were going to the movies, i told them they cant hang around for the next 2 hours and one guy is like fuckoff, i will do what i like etc, so i said well with your behaviour and the other shit you were doing its time to go, gave him 4 warnings to leave and pointed out conditions of entry, he is like fuckoff i will do what i want, so his mate was saying iwas going to bashed. I gave him a helping hand up and he struggled, so he went down, stuck hs arm round his neck and cocked back his wrist, he said he?d comply and leave then, meanwhile his mate is trying to kick me in the head so i put his mate towards the kicks, anyway pulled him up, walked him out and let him go. 18 year old goes home and gets his mum, who comes down ranting and raving and saying the 2 words my boss doesn't want to hear. Media and i will sue. So now, the investigation goes to our head office and without consultation only view the CCTV and i am given 3 options

Resignation and 4 weeks
Cant fight it if i resign and Unfair dismissal doesnt look at Summary dismissal which is serious misconduct.
What would you do?, take the resignation as if i fight it i will lose 4000 grand.

Pay in the US is a lot lower than Aus, as is the cost of living. An example, waitress's get $14/hr

Ignorance is bliss. I worked as an uncertified labourer (which means I wasn't even the highest paid labourer on site) during the summer when I was attending university and I was grossing close to 5k a week (I have all of my pay stubs to back this up). That doesn't include my pension and benefits. Just because you can't make good money KOS doesn't mean others can't.

but in small town va income and cost of living is very low
