2005 Mustang

The mustangs are nice, but if I was going to buy a Ford it would be a GT,with 550 horses

Well the Ford GT is not affordable to the majority of us. It is sweet though.

I'm a chevy person..........give me a Z06 any day of the week, i'll take any vette

Hmmm $30K vs. $130K hmmmmm........................hold on, I'll get it...........hmmmmm.............:hmmm: ..............OK ya' talked me into it..............you can buy me the GT. :D

I would rather have a C5, or cheaper fox body to play with.

The fox body is also much lighter, and doesn't have that stupidly overweight OHC engine that is as big as a 460 big block.

300HP? The LS1 cars have been dumping over 300 HP at the wheels since 1997.

Great performance from the '04 but the '05 is the first Mustang in many years where I can get excited about the styling.

yep... i don't like Fords in general and it's been many years since i've liked the Mustang....but this body style looks really good (old school and i like it!)

the retro styling is exactly what i don't like, i think the new vette looks like a ferrari rip-off too.......but i'll still drive'em if you gimme the keys

I'm with NG... I love the Mustangs from the late 60's & early 70's but haven't really cared for them since. But these new '05's look smooth & sleek :thumb: Love the front grill!

That new style is going to sell huge!

been reading the new Cobras...put a few small mods on them and they are nearing 500 hp...THAT is a car...

Did I read right? This 05 'stang only comes witha v-6?
oy..

Anyone know what the price range will be?

The six-cylinder 2005 shouldn't retail much higher than the current car, which starts at about $18,000.

They do look like the very old style~ Sawwwwwwwwwweeeeet!:)

I hope they build them better-- My 1997 one was a piece of S*it! :)

drives by in her little rice burner *beep beep*

Give me an LS6 over any creation Ford can put together.

Someday I'd like a '60s AC Cobra. After law school, I'm probably getting a SVT Cobra though. Concept cars are cool, but you'll never beat the old school American Muscle cars. Besides, the true '65 Shelby had only 500 made and that's part of what makes it so special.
 I do have some good mods on my current car, but no way in hell I'd ever own a damn rice rocket. lol

Now thats a car, I was on track with a replica and it hauled major ass. 2470 pounds, 17x9/17x11" wheels, and around 460 HP he said.

i like the new 2005's but i would rather have a 2003 SVT Cobra, they come stock with a supercharger and put out 390 horses. they run mid 12's stock. as for 300 horsepower in the new GT's, i think Ford could do better, my freind has a 2001 Trans Am that has 340, the new Cobra is really the only mustang that will beat a V8 camaro or firebird. i'd still take the mustang anway cuz im a ford guy

I need to have mudge do some work on my 97 z28 camaro. So i can have 1 million horsepower.

Only ford I would ever buy is the GT. It is the cheaper verison of the Enzo Ferrari.
