SALT LAKE CITY (AP) ? Stephen Covey, author of "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People," has died in Idaho three months after a serious bicycle accident in Utah.

Ryan Cameron of Covey's consulting firm, Franklin Covey, said the author died 2:15 a.m. Monday at a hospital in Idaho Falls, from complications of the accident. He was 79.

Covey also wrote three other books that have all sold more than a million copies. He is co-founder of Utah-based professional services company Franklin Covey.

The accident happened April 19 on a steep road in the foothills of Provo, Utah, about 45 miles south of Salt Lake City. Covey was unconscious and taken to a hospital, where doctors found some signs of bleeding.

I read "7 Habits."

It can be helpful. It helps to read it twice (I only read it once).

R.I.P.

79 is a good run....

Never even heard of the guy, lord knows I have more than 7 habits, and the majority of them are all bad.

But it is always very sad to hear of someone's passing.

RIP
