i always make chocolate covered strawberries for my kids but this year
i'm adding something special for my son....
it seems very odd to me but he's excited to try it.
Candy Bacon
Take 1 package good center cut bacon
fry carefully over medium high heat while
slowly adding just a sprinkle of
brown sugar and sea salt
don't over do it with either. ~
Drain bacon on paper towels till cool.
Melt aprox 1/2 cup of your favorite chocolate
a few seconds at a time in microwave as
heat varies.
Coat one half of each bacon slice with chocolate
using a spoon to even out.
Let chocolate bacon harden on wire rack.
watch them like this when they try it
if it seems ok try some yourself.
