Hey hey,
So I switched up my protein supplement recently; I went from a half-decent product called DynaWhey (Nutritional Information) to a highly-recommended and very 'simple' whey protein isolate (AllMax Isoflex Natural - Home*::*SPORTS NUTRITION*::*ALLMAX*::*Allmax IsoFlex Natural 90g)... despite switching to this higher-quality product, I've had... uh... a few "bathroom adventures", if you get my drift. "Fast-moving and unpleasant" would be an apt description.
I'm not lactose intolerant, and this new product has even less lactose than my last one (it's virtually lactose free), and there are absolutely zero fillers, flavourings, or anything - it's plain, high-quality isolate. That's literally the only ingredient. Due to the near-complete lack of lactose and complete lack of anything except WPI, I'm absolutely stumped as to why this could be an issue. I can't be 100% certain the new protein is the issue, of course, but I'm fairly positive it is. I supplement with it two to three times per day, mostly because I have a pretty sensitive digestive system at the best of times, and whey has always been a good way to help get me my extra protein.
Anyway, anyone ever experienced "issues" when switching brands/types of protein? I believe the DynaWhey is a bit more loaded in the "useful additives" department, so maybe that made it a bit easier to process, but I'm a bit unsure as to why I'd not be "getting along" with a quality product like the IsoFlex Natural; I take two or three servings per day, well spaced-out, and only about 3/4's of a scoop to not-quite-full scoop, so I'm certainly not over-doing it.
