Angelina Jolie Has Been Fitted For Her MALEFICENT Horns

The Stunningly beautiful Angelina Jolie hasn't acted in a film for two years, and she makes her grand return to the silver screen with Disney's new take on the classic fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty.

The next film that Angelina Jolie will be working is Luc Besson's Maleficent for Disney. She will start filming in June, and of course she thinks the script is the cat's meow. The film is a live-action reboot of Disney's 1959 classic fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty." Ah, but there is a catch. This time the movie is seen through the point of view of the evil sorceress, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie.)

In this version, Sleeping Beauty is the nemesis instead of the good guy ????
It???s not anti-princess, but it???s the first time they???re looking at this epic woman.

So there are some redeeming qualities to Maleficent the witch?
It sounds really crazy to say that there will be something that???s good for young girls in this, because it sounds like you???re saying they should be a villain. [Maleficent] is actually a great person. But she???s not perfect. She???s far from perfect.

Since it???s a Disney film, will this version of Maleficent be close to the one we know from their 1959 animated film?
We???re still figuring out the look. We???re experimenting with different things. But the horns are the horns ??? you can???t deny them. You have to have horns.​

Maleficent is a fictional character and the main antagonist in Walt Disney's 1959 adaptation of Sleeping Beauty. She is the self-proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil" who, after not being invited to the baby's christening, curses the infant Princess Aurora to "prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die" before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday. The character is Disney's adaptation of the evil fairy godmother from the original fairy tale.

Maleficent is often viewed as the most powerful and sinister of the Disney Villains, frequently acting as their leader in many crossovers, and her scenes in the climax of the film are among the darkest and most intense produced by Disney. In Ultimate Disney's top 30 Disney Villains countdown, Maleficent ranked #1.
