Hi everyone, just found this site linked from another board and figured I'd come check it out, and I've decided to stay and learn some new perspectives.
I've been weight training on and off since I was 13, when I was competing in sprint canoeing. At about 21/22 years old I was coaching alot and getting lazy gained a few pounds but thought nothing of it really. Last August (16th to be exact) I got married and realized I was getting fat. I was around 205lbs and not happy with the way I looked. January 1st I took some pictures of myself and decided to change. Those pictures are still above my mirror and are my motivation to train every day. I'm currently at 188lbs and more muscular than ever, starting to see a six pack again. I'm 6' and 24 years old by the way.
I do a Max-OT style program, currently on a 3 day split to give myself more time in the evenings. In the fall I will go back to a 5 day split. My diet has cleaned up a ton, I'm now cooking rather than fast food. I'm currently taking On 100% Whey, and Swole V2.
Can't wait to see more of what this site has to offer, and how I can benefit from other people's knowledge.
Thanks for reading,
