B6 for better protein utilization?

Anyone take it? I started taking 100-150mg a day just recently... not sure how much timing relative to meals matters.

B6 in general acts as a coenzyme in amino acid metabolism to make protein, and it is also responsible for the release of glucose from glycogen, thus aids in the regulation of blood glucose. The B Vitamins indirectly supply the body with energy. They are "helpers" so to speak. The B Vitamins help the body use the energy that carbs, fat, and protein provide.
