AP - Street and highway crews were at work trying to clear roads across the Great Lakes states into New England on Sunday as a storm blamed for three deaths spread a hazardous mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain.
People were talking about a blizzard, i was half excited, half dreading it. It started around 10pm and went on and off with a mix of snow, rain, sleet. I woke up this morning fully expecting to have to shovel the family cars out, but there was nothing on the ground. We lucked out.
it's snowing like crazy here and along with renting this house we inherited a stray cat that has been living around here 4 years. he now has a very cozy shelter on my porch he is taking full advantage of. he's not fixed and questionably tamed but he'll be going to a vet as soon as he trusts me enough to get in a pet carrier. i guess he's litter box trained...
it's frikken cold here n i just started paying for my own heat. how long does $755 of oil last in in a 10 room house? 68 F sucks!!! hopefully we will adjust AND catch flannel pajamas on sale at LL Bean.
I saw 6 people walking on the highway. ON the fucking highway. Wearing mostly black clothes with no reflective gear. Oh yeah, there was a cleared sideway, but apparently not clear enough. It seems like people get dumber when the snow comes down.
People also have a problem not turning their damn headlights on. Snow is coming down heavy and the clouds are super thick. But it's 2 in the afternoon, must be too early to turn them on!
Lots of freezing rain and ice here near Philly. I lost power for 12 hours. I went to the bar and watched the Eagles beat the Cowboys. I hate the Cowboys.
