I am thinking of making up a protein blend from the Fittness Factory. I plan on using a whey protein for post workout, but want to mix up something as a type of meal replacement with some protein ratios that will give a sustained release.

I am looking for some suggestions on what proteins and ratio's to use in such a drink. I am not sure how much cassin I need as I will likely be mixing it with milk. My thought was a good portion of egg, with some smaller portion of whey, but not sure what else. They speak of some type of bovine, but it is three times as costly as the rest. I also want some fat in the drink, which you can use MCT's, but not sure how much, or if I should get some liquid MCT's and use them if I feel like it. Not sure of all the benifits of Flax either.

Basically any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm not familar with fitness factory (I use trueprotein.com) but I recently made a night time formula which was 50% micellar casein protein, 20% milk protein isolate, 10% egg white and 20% whey. These aren't scientific formulas, just something I put together to balance protein needs with costs.

Thanks for your input. I am checking out the site right now. How is the flavor, and have you been pleased with the products you have received from True Protein?

Thanks

I picked the chocolate flavor, which didn't taste too great to be honest. As micellar casein and MPI aren't very soluable you'll need an electric blender to get rid of clumps.

Overall I was impressed with TP's products. I've also ordered whey, glutamine peptides and maltodextrin. All good stuff.

There's another site called proteinfactory.com that offers similar products but I've never purchased from them.

Good luck.

Thanks Redspy

I goofed up, I ment to say Protein Factory not Fittness Factory. There is more variety in selections from the Protein Factory then for True Protein.

I was looking at some pre-blended proteins that had %10 soy, do you think that is enough to hinder Test levels?

Thanks
Jay

There's conflicting research on the phytoestrogens in soy and its effect on Test levels, but IMO if you ingest small amounts I don't think there will be a problem. Soy protein is a high quality source and similar to whey in various metrics. I eat soybeans and drink small amounts of soy milk without worring about it.
