I am retarded when it comes to car audio. I looking to upgrade my truck radio. I currently have a 6 disc changer (in dash, mp3 capable). The features I'm looking for are MP3 hardwire, CD changer controls, Bluetooth ready, and sirius ready. I found a pioneer that had all but the Ipod hardwire, but that was as close as I found.

Also has anyone used a MP3 hardwire and how does it sound? I have the road trip which sends the signal through the radio stations, but i hear a lot of interference.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had to hard wire my after market serius for the same reason ... especially at high volume levels. Now with it wired directly in it's like soooooo good. The static was killin me now I'm a happy motorist and Austin gets to hear more jazz.

road trip sux ass. It's worse than radio.

you don't really need Ipod specific input. You can run a connection off your 3.5mm, to your Deck's input. 12 bux gets that job done. Harness for an Ipod capable deck, your looking at 60-100 i believe.
