You know regular creatine, how you have to have some sugar to spike your insulin or it never makes it to your muscles, well is CEE like that ???

I'm on a low-carb diet and I wonder if CEE works with no carbs, does it ???

Any thoughts on creatine and a low-carb diet at the same time ??? :ohyeah:

To the best of my knowledge every form of creatine that has been invented after creatine monohydrate was created to enhance the absorption without spiking your insulin levels.

However, to this day monohydrate has been the most tested supplement ever. There are still not a lot of proof that any of these new forms of creatine are any better than monohydrate. They could be they may not be.

Ingesting creatines with sugar with the intent to spike insulin was a method to get as much creatine within the muscle as fast & effective as possible. However, you don't necessarily need spiked insulin levels for creatine to eventually make their way to the muscle.

Taking creatine post sugar/simple carbs intake is ideal, but not absolutely necessary.
