and am I right in saying that Dog the bounty hunters son is turning pro in mma ?

Cause it is a very competitive division. He has to earn that fight like anyone else. If it was a weaker division it probably would have happened pretty quickly.

That and the UFC wants to build up other fighters, so that the cards aren't one dimensional.

Chuck is now 0-2 vs. Rampage. Had Chuck won the first fight he would have gotten an immediate rematch. Now the division is so deep, it just wouldn't be fair.

Dan Henderson is the PRIDE 205lb champ so he and Rampage will fight in a few weeks to unify the titles. After that Chuck will probably get Wanderlei in December if he gets by Jardine. Shogun gets Forrest @ UFC 76 and I would imagine if he wins convincingly, he'll get a shot soon as well. Dana has already said that Chuck has to win a few fights to get back to the title.

What would be the point? Rampage owns Chuck's style totally. So Dana has to wait it out and see who can topple Jackson before sending Chuck back in for the belt.

I'm pretty sure that belt will join Hendo's collection ...
