I'm going to begin taking CEE shortly and am looking for the correct dosage. I read up on Creatine: Beyond the Confusion - Part II. I'm going to be taking Bulk Nutrition's CEE which according to the label is 1/4teaspoon=410mg.

Now for the maintenance phase (as I understand it, CEE doesn't need a loading phase), it says .15g/kg bodyweight. I've done the calculating (I'm 145lbs) and that'd equate to 6 teaspoons per day (10g)...3 teaspoons pre-workout and another 3 post-workout.

Does that seem overkill?

10g is way overkill for CEE... for 145lbs 2g a day should be optimum.

CEE is not Creatine Monohidrate, CM is taken usually in quantities of 10g.

Thanks for clearing that up. Is there a general guideline of how much CEE to take per kb/lb of bodyweight?

I have not seen any public studies. CEE is a relative new product.
But independant studies from manufacturers and supplement companies state that the amount should be from 1.5g to 3g a day. Remember that not always more is better, so I would suggest to use 2g first and see if that fits your body. I used it for a month pre -workout and got good strength gains, specially in squat and chest (im 170lbs). I sold the reminder because of the taste. :barf:

So it sounds like I should take 1g pre-workout and 1g post-workout, then go from there. If it weren't for you, I'd probably be overdosing on CEE. :thumb:

I take 5g a day, along with 6g of tri creatine malate.
