In the past I???ve used EAS Phosphagen HP, Met-Rx Micronized Creatine and recently Prolab creatine. I do cycle off and on, off about a month in-between.

Why does it feel as though I didn???t receive any benefits using a Creapure type creatine (Prolab)? I???ve tried mixing it with dextrose, about 20-30 grams, but all I received was bodyfat from the sugar. I???ve also mixed it with grape juice or my PWO shake.

Is it possible that my body has gotten used to creatine that by the time I started using Creapure creatine it felt as though it wasn???t working or could it be simply that my body doesn???t react to it?

I can???t remember, but was the old Met-Rx Micronized Creatine (red cap with white tub/bottle, looks sorta like the MassAction container) a Creapure creatine?

That is often the case with successive cycles.

I also see many say this although poundages are going up in their lifts...and their waist is shrinking.....a sure sign of LBM gain, while losing BF......hence "no difference" in BW! :D

I guess Creapure is working behind the scenes and don't even realize it. My BW has stayed constantly at 200 lb. with improvements in physcial attributes and weight-lifting poundage. I wasn't looking at the physical difference. The non-creapure creatine brands gave me more of....endurance/adrenaline rush feeling.

Bro, how much red meat do you eat daily? How much fish like herring and mackeral? In pounds? Could be that you're getting all the creatine you need from your diet...

Each day at least two to three of my meals will contain red meat, salmon, tuna (fresh from the sea, Dad caught plenty of Albacore this summer to share with the whole clan), chicken, turkey..etc..

I've decided to continue with creapure type creatine.

Here is a link to a great creatine FAQ on the Creapure website, lots of great info.

I've eaten over 4 pounds of red meat per day, and that still doesn't compare to supplementary creatine useage. Either way, I don't notice creatines affects at all, even at 10g per day, so in my eyes it may work but its no miracle job thats easily detectable.

Could it be that you havent added enough dextrose to stimalate a large enough insulin response?

It could be a possibility, but I've decided to stay away/limit my dextrose and sugar intake.

One thing I have failed to mention and it only hit me cause I read it on the creapure website FAQ. Half an hour before my work-out I'll take a caffeine pill....
