Is drinking more water the only way to combat cramping associated with creatine?
The reason I ask is I play league basketball once and sometimes twice a week and while I'm taking creatine I cramp in my lower legs to the point I can not play competively (besides the fact the cramps hurt like hell). I went off the creatine and haven't had any problems since but now my weighlifting is affected. I increased my water intake but still had cramping issues (I may need to drink even more).
I guess I need to know if the cramping can be overcome with increased water intake and if anything else will help? Any opinions on wether or not I should even mess with creatine while playing basketball would be appreciated as well.
