I remember reading somwhere(I wish I knew how to post a link) that they should not be taking together.....(whatever scientific reasoning it was)....maybe croxdale knows/heard of this?......It's never talked about(eh, maybe its complete bullshit)......I think that article stated that they must be taken at seperate times.......

I have never heard about this. I would imagine so many do as it is already.

Yea, I'd like to see the link on that.

This isn't in my area but here is a good source.

This article by Dr Layne Norton indicates that comgination of glutamine and creatine for enhancing recovery.

Norton's PhD is in Nutrition. Norton has his Pro Natual Bodybuilding card, has squatted over 600 and deadlifted 695 lbs. So, this guy is a "Muscle Necked Geek" who has book smarts and the real world experience.

I do NOT think much of John Stamatopoulos article that you listed.

John Stamatopoulos Bio

John is a trainer for two former Mr. Greece (one of them was 5th in IFBB Mr. Europe in 1992). He also has a degree in business administration and is 6'1, and weighs 225 pounds, carrying around 12% bodyfat.

Qualifications?

I don't see anything in his bio that would qualify him as an nutrition authority.

Don't Mix Creatine and Caffeine

Stamatopoulos isn't up to date on this.

How to combine creatine and caffeine ? and how not to
How to combine creatine and caffeine ? and how not to

This article goes into how caffeine can enhance creatine uptake and when it doesn't.

Norton

Norton has a bachelor's degree in bio chemistry and a PhD in nutrition, ect...see above.

So, which one do you think is right?

If you look at most of the new whey protien powders they all contain glutamine and alot also contain creatine...I read years ago that they will both fight for absorption but i dont know how true that is?...I can tell you this from experience though...Ive taken them seperate and also together...My best mass gains were while taking them together...It was like my muscles just swelled up with water, much more then when just taking creatine alone...I add a extra 5000mgs of glutamine and 10,000mgs of creatine to my post workout shakes with great results!

See?...that's why I asked you!.......yeah booby, I've taken them together for the most part as well.....thanks for info guys.....
