A tornado hit Mobile also, but luckily it did minimal damage. It was horrible what that tornado that hit Enterprise did.

That must be some scary shit. Not only should school have been called if there were tornado warnings, parents shouldn't have even let their kids go even if there was school.

"The town of Owosso Michigan in Shiawassee County, Michigan was struck by a tornado on November 11, 1911. Two were killed, nine were injured. The storm occurred at 11:11 PM, on 11-11-11 (November 11, 1911), and was thus (appropriately) named "Tornado Of The Elevens". The odds of a tornado striking at such a date and time are so small as to be trivial."

The conditions that spawn a possible tornado happened so fast, that the weather was too bad for them to leave by the time the warnings were listed.

I've seen a tornado in Texas start to swirl down from the sky then suck back up right near my house, then it swirled back down a 1/4 mile away and destroyed 4 houses. It wasn't very big either, I can only imagine what those monsters do...

Wow that must have been long tornado! Started in Texas and touched down in Hawaii!

I thought that's when it started? :hmmm:

I remember we drove by the area afterwards and a 6 ft 2x4 was driven diagonally into the ground and only half of it was visible.

Thats not the worst I've seen though, I remember when a gas pocket exploded several miles from our home near Brenham, TX and we drove by there and I saw a piece of wood driven through a tree and a bunch of cattle in pieces all over a pasture, even saw the ass half of a raccoon hanging from a branch on a tree...

A tornado ripped through our college town last year, took out some houses two blocks down from where I was living at the time in addition to some stores.
