IFBB Pro Dallas "Big Country" McCarver posed for NPC & IFBB USA President Jim Manion two weeks out from the Arnold Australia. After that video surfaced, Muscular Development's "Sugar" Shawn Ray weighed in, releasing a pointed video on McCarver's conditioning (or lack thereof). Apparently, McCarver confronted the pint-sized IFBB Hall of Famer & expressed some concerns, backstage at the Arnold Down Under. McCarver would later drop out of the contest, due to a respiratory condition.
