Ive been taking 1 serving of maltodextrose befor my workut its 50g carbs and about half scoop after my workout i was wondering if anyone else does this and if you see it afecting your BF% in a good or bad way.I feel it might put a little fat on but i could of just been the peanut butter i stoped puting peanut butter in my shakes now.

I think it depends on how prone you are to putting on weight. If you have a high metabolism, I think you should take some sort of malto or waximaize. I personally put on fat when I had that stuff in my shakes. Too much sugar for me.

I use it when I have no time for a meal, just three scoops of protein and a few of waxy maize.

I was taking it when I was taking with insulin prior to working out. I stopped the insulin and I dumped the extra carbs. I noticed a signifigant difference with my pump. I added it back in and the pump came back.
I take a combo of dexc(50g), bcaa(10g), glut(5g) and what ever prework drink is on sale 10 min before I walk in now all the time. I rotate glut and creatine.
I have noticed no fat gain. actually the total opposite.

You did the right thing when you stopped using maltodextrose with peanut butter. Maltodextrose will cause an insulin response. Insulin is a storage hormone, and one of the things it loves to store is fatty acids. Peanut butter is high in fat. Combine dextrose/maltodextrose blend with hydrolyzed whey and some creatine and you'll have a great post workout shake.
