I need to write sounds but I don´t know how to do it.
Like Hahaha.. is the sounds of a laugh.
Help?
Auf :)

The chicken goes mooooooo.

You come up with off the wall stuff my friend ... but this time I'm with ya. I have several hispanic friends here in Texas (imagine that). The sounds animals make in the English language came up in conversation and turned into a laugh-a-thon.

You spelled it auf but woof-woof or ruff-ruff would be normal in the U.S. Grrrrrrrrr would be growling noises ...

How are these spelled in Portuguese?

The dog goes au au here. :)

ruff ruff ? That is one gay dog.

So you can see that if you and I were sitting at a party either there in Brazil or here in the U.S. while not even kowing each other would have ouselves and everyone else around us laughing their asses off ... stoned or not ... as we made the animal noises from our respective native tongues.

Pooooo Poooo would be more like a pigion in English ...

How do you spell that word that means sounds the way its spelled?

Onomonopia.......some shit like that.

Cultural diferences are one the best things to observe.

I thought it went bwaaaak bwaaaak.
Not from what my old See and Say used to tell me it had been beaten so bad the chicken sounded like a giraffe and the cow went quack quack and the dog bwaak bwaak, etc.

I think dogs go arf.
