Dreaming - Making you tired???

Again last night I had a double dream. 10.5 hours sleep. But I feel fine today, no sleeping in the car on the way to work. Same with yesterday. I have been trying to get back to eating normal, stress is still pretty high but haven't been thinking about it.

Great!

Just keep working at it, and you'll put it behind you.

Have you had your teeth worked on yet?

No I haven't. I got in a fight a couple weeks ago, and it feels like the root of my wisdom tooth is cracked or something. The tooth is raised but not wobbly. It does send pain all through my jaw but is slowly getting better. I still cant eat nuts and have a hard time chewing steak. Im going to leave it as is and if it doesnt get better I will need to get it looked at.

Just an update - Over the long weekend I was out alot. Went to bed for the 4 nites between 4 and 7am, and woke up between 8 and 9.30 am. On these nights I did not dream and woke up with lots of energy. I was out all day and all night doing something. Come Monday night I tried going to bed at 11.30pm to get up for work at 6.30 but didnt get to sleep till 1.30 and even then kept waking up and just wanted to get up. Then last night went to bed at 11, slept all night and woke up tired as and slept the whole way to work.

I was really surprised at how I stayed up over the weekend. I did drink alot of sf energy drinks and vodka/gaurana/taurine drinks. But just coincidence that I didnt dream during this time??

No, but restless leg syndrome is kicking my ass for the last 2 nights.

Why have i never experienced sleep paralysis? I always tend to have a good night's sleep and i rarely dream. If i do dream, it's usually just either strange or good. Never have bad dreams.

On the other hand, i did wake up one time only to realize that i had been sleeping on my left arm the entire time. When i got off my left arm, i couldn't move it because it was sooo numb (i dont know what its called but its when it starts to feel all tingly and restless) so i lifted it with my right hand and it just fell back down as i attempted to regain control of it. It was weird and freaky.

I always find myself dreaming dreams of anxiety about the next day. Especially the last hour or two of sleep. I really have though about looking into sleep aids, but I feel really strongly about taking drugs to induce things like sleep, feelings, etc. I figure if I came out this way it's the way I should be.

Sounds like you may be having a crash syndrome or something from those hard weekends. I t would happen to me when I partied like that, I would take vivarin to stay up that Monday at work then go home and nap hard for 2-3 hours that evening and the rest of the week would be fine...

I know you're serious, but... :roflmao:

It was meant to be serious and a pun. You seem to be the only one that got it.

My new medication is causing the RLS. I looked it up online and found other people taking the medicine also had RLS. Its pretty ironic that the medicine I am taking to get better rest causes me to get no rest at all on some nights. Its horrible how bad it can get.
