For the past couple of months, ive been awakened by an uncomfortable feeling in my legs. It doesnt hurt, they just feel completely exhausted. It wakes me probably 10 times each night, I barely get any sleep. My research always showed restless leg syndrome, which really has no cure.
Over the last 3 days, that same exhausted feeling has been bothering me throughout the day as well. When I look it up, it shows anything from low potassium levels to kidney failure. Its worrying me enough that im going for bloods this week. I just finished a 15 week test cycle so I need bloodwork anyway.
Have any of you ever encountered this problem? And if so, have you found any OTC supps that helped combat it?

I get it from time to time, pretty common thing
I knew a guy who had bad sleeping problems, did a sleep study and found out his leg was twitching all night

oh, also, negged :)

i get restless cock syndrome.....i just tell the wife to jump on....

Ok bizarre but true, my wife was getting restless leg syndrome and read online some where that putting a bar of soap under the sheets helps prevent this. Needless to say there has been a bar of dove under the sheets for about a month now and I have not heard her mention RLS once since........:coffee:

400 mg of magnesium before bed

youporn and spank session before bed your legs will thank you

That and some potassium.
If you are taking any supplements that contain high levels of caffeine drop them.
If you drink coffee limit it to no more than one cup a day.
Eat foods high in vitamin e.
Increase vitamin b intake.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
I get that too, but not a every night thing. Sometimes I have top jump out of bed and do some stretching. Not a quick stretch. But a good stretch session and foam rolling. I've actually fallen asleep with my head on my foam roller. I was so tired, but just couldn't sleep. Did the stretch and roll, woke up to my girlfriend saying "who does that" lol.

Thanks for the replies. I dont get the twitching that some of you mentioned, just the tired feeling. Ill pick up some of the supps you mentioned and give them a try. If my bloods show anything out of the ordinary, ill post it here.

ps- i too have suffered for a long time with restless cock syndrome. I just learned to cope with it lol

Sheriv and Bowden nailed it with magnesium and potassium IME. Magnesium helped me the most with that dead-leg feeling. Also helps with headaches

What is the total volume of all leg work that you do in the gym?
How much recovery time do you allow between workout sessions that would directly or indirectly stress any leg muscles that are used as targets, synergists, dynamic stabilizers during the lifts.
Squats, dead-lifts, leg isolation work, cardio ect.

Try taking a week off from any type of leg work in the gym and see if you notice a difference.

4 sets each of squats, leg press, extensions, curls, and lunges. Im def taking leg day off this week.
im starting to wonder if I dont get enough water during the work day. I climb trees for a living and sweat profusely throughout the day. I wonder if dehydration would be the problem...

Hell yeah it could be dehydration. I used to work on a farm and it's hard to get enough water when you're doing physical labor and sweating your ass off.

i get mind numbing cramps that will hurt for days if i dehydrate after leg days.....

I was walking into the woods yesterday and there was hip high weeds that were soaking wet. To avoid getting soaked, I was reaching my leg up high and folding the weeds over in front of me, making a path. One time I lifted my leg, I got the worst cramp in my hamstring. I could barely move for a minute. Im really beginning to think its dehydration. I go for bloods tomorrow so ill have a better picture of whats going on soon
