What it is from Southeast Texas!?!?

I began working out in March 1999 doing Tae-Bo. At the time I was 19 and 300 plus pounds.. A year later, minus 50 lbs, I added running on a consistent basis. In January 2001, around 240lbs, I joined a local gym and by Febuary I was doing their Kick Boxing and Cardio classes.. And up the running to roughly 3 miles about 5 times a week. By August 2001 I was 214. I then broke my hand and began, what I consider, my crazy diet/unhealthy phase- where I got right under 200, but didn't have 200 pounder strength and Ephedra induced energy.. Hydroxcut and only a few hours sleep a night did me in.. Once they no longer included ephedra in their product.. It didn't work the same on me... I forgot what I was working out for.. And I gave up working out all together...

Since then I have trained off and on fluctuating between around 218 to 248. I am currently around 225, up from 218 in September..

I WAS training for the Houston Marathon, coming up in January. But have finally realized why I ALWAYS stop working out and put on weight during the Colder months.. My Allergies, and to a lesser extent, my asthma kick in! I always figured I just got lazy and that was the reason... Well for the 1st time during these months I was actually after a goal and had been training hard leading into these months.. with purpose! .. Well two sinus infections later... My body just doesn't let me... AT THIS TIME. In the next 2 - 6 weeks I expect to start P90X.. I

** I'm currently recieving bi-weekly allergy shots to build up my immunity to... well -> LIFE! **

In the next 2 - 8 weeks I expect to start P90X that I got off of Craigslist!! I'm pretty pumped to start it and I hope to keep this forum updated on my progress.

(edit: I hope me following a video doesn't get any Fitness God/Muscle Head bent out of shape.. I read some previous threads where a person was getting a hard time because they wrote about their results.. and if you're offended that I'm going to use a video.. F*xK You Very Much!!)

Well.. That's me.. or at least the part I decided to put out there at this time. Hope to talk with most of you at some point or another! Happy New Year and Merry Fitness to You!
