It seems like Kerry is winning all the debates, and look, he even won the FOX polls!!! That surely says SOMETHING...and most articles are saying good things about Kerry and negative things about Bush...yet their still neck and neck for November 2nd...come on people, use ur brains...its obvious Kerry is the man....Kerry fans...pass this on..

kerry won, cuz you know how at the end he gained like 60 yards on his 4th down, picked it up with an ally-oop thrown by edwards, and slammed it all the way to Home while making a birdie.

haha just playing. yeah i think kerry won

I think if you have anything at all in common with Italian44 you might want to reconsider your opinions.

How hard is it to win when you guarentee free healthcare and promise jobs you can't provide? Unemployment rate as of October 8, 2004 was 5.4% including teenagers. Adult men is at 5% and adult women is at 4.7%, teenagers is at 16.7%. It is funny because Clinton ran on and won his campaign in 1996 on the same unemployment rate. Bush inherited a recession from Clinton, if you look it up the recession started in March of 2000. If it was not for the tech stock boom of the 90's, Clinton's economy could have very well been in the recession. Couple that with the a terrorist attack, it is amazing that the economy can even be brought up.

Job outsourcing is another one of Kerry's issues, he says he can solve. As long as Americans buy foriegn cars and products from overseas, job outsourcing will continue. It is the American consumers responsibility to keep jobs in America.

But again, you promise the lazy, unemployed, and uninsured everythin they want from the government. How hard is it going to be to win? Its ok all the Kerry supporters don't have to pay for it, someone else does, and that is ok!

Taken from Factcheck.org

"the National Bureau of Economic Research (which dates business cycles) says the recession actually began in March 2001, after Bush took office in January."

One may say that we were on a starting a downslope, but the actual fact of the matter is the powers that be state the recession did not start until after Bush took office.

AH HA!!!! TAKE THAT :D

Bush was wrong on Tax Cuts went to the middle class - 53% went to the top 10%

Kerry was wrong on Pell Grants and After School Programs - The administration never cut either.

Bush doesn't even remember what he has said - He did say he doesn't think about Osama much, he has barely mentioned him since 2002. The dangerous thing is that he say's he doesn't hear much from Osama nowaday's. We didn't hear much from him before 9/11 either.

Bush was wrong about the Flu Vaccines - His administration didn't block it, Britain suspended Chiron's license and block shipping.

Even though Kerry was wrong about the meetings with the Congressional Black Caucus the first meeting was just for formalities and the second meeting they had to demand his presence at a conference on Haiti with Rice and Powell. He is the first President in many decades to not meet with the NAACP.

They say Kerry was wrong on the 5.6 trillion surplus, but going by what Dale posted above Bush is at fault for sending us in a downward spiral and on top of the CBO reports on his tax cuts sending us even deeper, his little side-war in Iraq and the large number of outsourced jobs during his watch we are facing a long up hill battle to get back on par.

Why shouldn't more tax cuts go the the top 10%? They pay most of the taxes.

I think the top 5 percent pay about 80% of the taxes.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A38826-2004Jan22?language=printer <- Claims economy went into recession in 2000.

The tech stock boom of the 90's was the only reason Clinton's economy did not slip into recession. The upswing actually started when Bush Sr. was in office.

Outsourcing jobs, the reason jobs are outsourced is because it is cheaper for jobs to go overseas. Tax incentives aren't going to keep them there. The American consumer is the one responsible for outsourcing jobs, everyone wants it cheaper. Stop buying products from overseas, cars and electronics. Or pay the price of outsourced jobs.

Neil Boortz's response to outsourced jobs if he was in the debate:
"First of all, Bob, I would tell them that it is not their job. The job belongs to the employer, not the employee. You have the job skills. The employer has the jobs. If the employer can make a profit by purchasing your job skills to perform his job then you get a paycheck. If your job skills cost the employer too much, or if your job skills don't meet the employer's needs, then you don't get a paycheck. If you fail to develop your job skills, you run the risk of not having a paycheck. If your job skills don't match the employer's needs, you don't get a paycheck. If you charge too much for your job skills, you won't get hired. You have no right to a job. You do have a right to be left alone by government and your fellow citizens to develop your own God-given talents in such a way that employers will seek you out. You also have a right to ignore educational opportunities and to develop a slovenly work ethic so that employers will shun you. You make your choices, and you live with the consequences of your decisions. I would tell that person that any American with desirable job skills and a good worth ethic, properly priced, would have to hide under his bed to avoid getting a good job. If you believe in the year 2004 that you can build a sound career as a textile plant worker in South Carolina then you are living a lie, and that delusion will soon catch up to you. You need to understand that you are a free and sovereign individual. You don't belong to the government, and it's not the government's responsibility to provide you with a job. It's the government's job to clear the way for you to exercise your free choices, develop your skills, hone your work ethic, and contract with an employer eager to hire someone like you. Past that, you're on your own, and that's life in a free society."

Neil Boortz's response to minimum wage increase:
"Look, Bob. Wages are something to be negotiated between the employer and the employee. It is not the job of government to set wages for private sector employees. Our Constitution specifically states that the government is not to alter the terms of a contract between individuals. The matter of wages paid for services rendered is something to be resolved in negotiations between the employer and employee and then expressed in the terms of a contract between the parties. The government has no role here. And while I'm addressing this, let's talk about the people who are actually earning the minimum wage. Most of these people are teenagers working in entry-level jobs. They're developing job skills and will only spend a minimum amount of time at the minimum wage. But what about that small number of people who are trying to raise a family on minimum wage. My opponent won't say this. It's harsh, but it's the truth. If you have done such a pathetic job of developing job skills and a work ethic that you cannot earn more than the minimum wage, then you have no business having children. We have far too many people in this country who have children that they know full well they cannot afford to raise. The answer to this problem is not to force employers to pay them more than they are worth. The answer is to educate people as to the cost of properly raising a child, and to encourage them to make sure they can pay the bills before they make the decision to have a baby."

And yet they still have not changed it, 9 months since the article, so I am guessing they changed their mind on that one.

What you don't understand is that he took a record SURPLUS and turned it into a record DEFICIT, that is ridiculous. You cannot tell me that he could not have prevented the slide. I am guessing that not cutting taxes when he planned on starting a war would have been a good start.
