Found this on the Fox.news site while searching for Mk-19 info, strange how they each died from the same thing??????? Cover-up maybe???

Marine Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Todd Arnold, 30, of Spring, Texas. Killed in a non-hostile accident when a rocket-propelled grenade launcher he was firing for familiarization malfunctioned near Al Kut, Iraq. Assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Killed in a non-hostile accident when a rocket-propelled grenade launcher he was firing for familiarization malfunctioned near Al Kut, Iraq. Assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

How is it that each of them were holding a malfunctioning grenade-launcher????

It's possible they were all huddled around the same weapon. The author(s) of the obit were probably unclear as to who was actually the triggerman.

Regardless...... if you're within 10 meters when an RPG misfires you can kiss your ass goodbye.
