So, guys, when is your next appointment with a dentist?

I would not have believed this, but I've just had a real life experience with this sort of thing. About a year ago I had a dental appointment and in the process I had a cavity filled and the dentist told me I need to get a root canal on the back tooth on the right of my lower jaw. He showed me the infection there and said I needed to get it done. It didn't hurt of bother me so I just put it off. During the course of the next year my lower back and hips started to bother me, aching even keeping me awake so I didn't sleep etc. It got gradually worse. I went to my GP Doc and he ordered a whole battery of tests even had me see a Rheumatologist. The verdict was that I had osteoarthritis; which just means the joints are worn out.. Nothing they can do except replace the joints. The Rheumatologist did tell me to take Tylenol which for me has never worked and I told him that. He said; you have to take it 3 or 4 times a day every day and it will help.. He was right, it did and then I had another dentist appointment and my dentist told me if I didn't get the root canal done I was going to lose the tooth even though it didn't hurt. I didn't hurt because there was no pressure building around the nerve, the infection was leaking out between the tooth and gum. So I had the root canal done.. within a week all my joints felt better, the hips are fine now, no more aching etc. I was dumfounded, all that time an infected tooth was causing the problems.! I will never let that go again... Keep your mouth and teeth healthy guys!

Thanks for the real life experience, which should prompt many of us to make an appointment with the dentist asap.

I read your post and Googled it. I found many proofs. And I believe that gum disease and toothache can cause some anxiety disorders. Toothache is considered one of the most unbearable pains, along with urolithiasis, childbirth, and so on. So people who are constantly experiencing toothache become nervous. And the load on the nervous system causes diseases in any area of the body. You need to take care of your teeth. I don't eat a lot of sweets, but even so, I get caries. So I made white fillings and whitened my front teeth so my smile would be more pleasant for the interlocutors. I've been taking care of my teeth since I was young.
