SCOTLAND'S first gay football team are preparing to face the Auld Enemy.

Edinburgh-based HotScots FC will take on English gay rivals the London Leftfooters at a match on Sunday.

HotScots chairman Kevin Rowe said they were looking forward to a "competitive game" at the Jack Kane Leisure Centre to coincide with the team's first anniversary.

He said: "A year on, the HotScots now have more than 80 members and have regular training sessions twice a week and several fixtures scheduled over the coming months."

The side will represent Scotland at the Gay World Cup in London in August.
