Getting back in shape

I've been out of the game for years, about 8 years. I try to do cardio but 10 minutes into any cardio my calfs, front and back, burn so bad its insane. They stiffen up and then I can hardly move. What can I do to help relieve this?

Also, complex carbs and after if your muscles are burning, a tablespoon of baking soda mixed in water will ease the pain. Drink it and it will subside in about 10 minutes or less.

One new guy to another, welcome man! Advice.... stretch, lots of water and take your time bro. Taking that amount of time off will tell you it will take time to build your temple again. Maybe hit the calf machine and just stretch on it, do a ton of light reps, then take your time on the cardio and ease into higher speeds and or duration of session. Best to ya!
