Hello,

I bought glutamine (AllMax Brand) a week back, but since i started taking it I have trouble sleeping. I yawn feel tired but can't sleep. Typically can sleep around 3 to 4 AM & that screws my whole day. Today by evening i was feeling so tired i had to skip my workout.

Any thoughts? I am taking around 10 - 15 grams 3 doses. 1st in the morning & 2nd after the workout and the 3rd before bed.

Did some research before posting & some people are having the same problem, remember reading "Trouble's" post some where regarding Glutamine sensitive people.

Also would like to know if green tea OK before bed or not, taking around 3 -4 cups daily.... noticed that i am very calm but don't know about before bed.

1. what have you been sold by the magazines to think glutamine is doing for you? I think adequate rest would blow it's weak claims out of the water.

2. Why would you think taking green tea before would be "ok" if youre having sleeping problems? Unless of course this is decaf, which still has some caffeine in it.

3. X them both and get a good nights sleep.

No i haven't read any magazine...to be honest i am not subscribed to any mag, i don't even buy mags from stands man...Period.

Green Tea ->> L-Theanine (I thought this was beneficial, right? but not before bed i guess :hmmm:)

I wanted to try glutamine for IBS :(, but damn thing messed up my sleep.

Any suggestions, now i have the 400gms glutamine with me, Is it OK if i take it daytime and abort after 5pm?

What about ZMA instead of Glutamine?

How about a solid diet and solid training program, with plenty of rest.

Glutamine? ZMA? dont waste your money.

I was trying not to say that this time around. .....its painful to hold back.

so I 'll just say I agree. Hell with all the other crap youre swallowing plus extra protein your poor liver is already working enough.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
zma is a decent supplement, men typically are deficient in magnesium

p.s. read some of the threads about glutamine on here. some like it, most think its trash
