Google Chrome

Google's evil, I'm going to stay with Firefox for as long as I can. I love the add ons for it like Ghostery and Ad Block Plus.

yes yes it is. However I am a mozilla guy. I use CCleaner and it keeps it running real fast.

Chrome is much faster than FF and blows away IE by a big margin. I use Chrome beta on my phone and tablet, and the cool thing is you can sync your bookmarks so that you can access anything from any device, so long as you sign in.

I started using it when my company switched us over to Gmail. Google Docs, Books, Reader, Calender I find all to be very useful. There is no denying Google makes some good shit.

^Cleaner is not an add-on to FF. You can download it for free. It has a decent registry cleaner..

Opera is a better alternative. Don't let Google have a monopoly over everything.

+1

I wish we could force Chrome on people where I work. Not only is it faster and pretty damn stable, it's chock full of a lot of cutting edge features and is updated really frequently. Makes web development much, much more fun.

I have been using Mozilla Firefox for years, lately it's been slow as fuck, so today I started using Google Chrome and it's fast as shit!

Firefox disappeared from my laptop a long time ago. I'm convinced it was related to a virus. :gosh: Have been using Chrome ever since.

I thought Chrome slowed down my PC? My firefox is acting strange, I think I'm giving Chrome another try.

firefox is too bloated that's why it's slow i think.

I did a test just now based on my perception of Chrome vs Firefox. Chrome loads pages about 40% faster than Firefox. Which means that Chrome loads in a third of a second faster. That doesn't really count for much. And, to me, doesn't make it worth losing all the add-ons I use in Firefox. Not the least of which is having the tabs on the side and not the top.

So it seems as far as speed and overall preformance, chrome wins. Chrome vs opera?
