I thought that was because she gave it xanax thinking it would calm it down, but it had a paradoxical effect and caused the chimp to be highly anxious...

Never saw the part about the chimpanzee having an autopsy. Still, wouldn't have happened if the animal had been in a zoo with proper handlers or in the wild.
