Hey folks,
I have a friend who has just started on creatine. He is three days into his loading phase and called me to say that he is experiencing headaches and lightheadedness immediately after taking it. He is taking it in combination w/ protein and glutamine. I suggested he needs to drink more water but he says that he drinks at least a liter before and a liter after taking it, plus about 4-6 more during the typical day, so it can't likely be hydration. Is this simply a side effect of the absorption? I have never had this myself. He is loading with 10g twice a day as is suggested, one time in the morning and one time post workout.
Any ideas?
