Hello everyone,
My name is Cliff and I have been working out now for about 2 and a half months trying to gain size/mass. When I began my routine, I was about 194lbs, now I am at 225lbs. A lot of this is fat though. I went from 19% body fat to 25-27%. I am sure I am doing plenty of things wrong, and that is why I have joined this forum. I am sure one of the biggest things I am doing wrong is my diet. I was told to eat like a pig, and I have been. But I have been eating nothing but crap. Chips, pizza, beer. About two weeks ago I started taking creatine and protein shakes, other than that, no supplements. I am very regimented in my workout routine, and have not faltered on that part. The main thing I hope to get from this forum is a better knowledge of the other aspects aside from the physical workout, i.e.: nutrition, rest, and supplements/vitamins. Don???t get me wrong, I have seen lots of muscle gains, but the added fat is driving me nuts.
My long term goals are pretty loose right now, gain as much size before January 1st, then try and cut whatever size I have and define it.
Anyways all, cant wait to talk to you!
