Yep. I'm back in Afghanistan. Probably one of the single most challenging deployments to date. Been here (on ground) about 6 months now.
I'm stations at Gardez, up in the mountains, not far from the Pakistan border. Finally got a decent internet connection. Thought I'd get back in the forum and see what my peeps are up to.
Lot of new faces... lotsa familiar faces. Good to see all of them.

How was the food in the DFAC?
Probably one of the best (if not THE best) meals I've had since I've been here. Nothing like home of course but, it was pretty good.
